Prrecious metals spike on persistent supply deficit and weak US Dollar

Gold futures rose above $4,110 an ounce in electronic trade on Tuesday, while MCX bullion futures approached ?1,44,000 per 10 grams. Silver gained over 2% to above $59 an ounce, aided by ongoing supply issues and a weaker US dollar.
