Quick Wrap: Nifty Pharma Index gains 1.74%

Nifty Pharma index ended up 1.74% at 28427.75 today. The index has gained 8.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Divis Laboratories Ltd rose 7.52%, Wockhardt Ltd gained 3.05% and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd jumped 2.96%. The Nifty Pharma index has soared 28.00% over last one year compared to the 2.05% slide in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Media index gained 1.71% and Nifty Realty index is down 0.65% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 is down 0.18% to close at 24986.4 while the SENSEX has slid 0.04% to close at 80999.4 today.
