Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd eases for fifth straight session

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd dropped for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 2751.2, down 1.74% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 1.59% on the day, quoting at 22243.65. The Sensex is at 71660.41, down 1.35%.Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd has eased around 12.66% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Auto index of which Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd is a constituent, has eased around 10.93% in last one month and is currently quoting at 25138.9, down 2.02% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 21.2 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 24.04 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark October futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 2768, down 1.77% on the day. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd tumbled 20.09% in last one year as compared to a 11.67% slide in NIFTY and a 7.35% fall in the Nifty Auto index.

The PE of the stock is 21.34 based on TTM earnings ending June 26.
