Avantel Limited secures Rs 6.02 crore contract from Ministry of Defence for Satcom equipment maintenance

Avantel Ltd. is down 2.13% to Rs 150.78, extending recent declines that have seen the stock slip 2.94% over the last week.

Avantel Limited has received a contract from the Directorate of Electrical Engineering, Naval Headquarters, Ministry of Defence, for comprehensive annual maintenance of Satcom equipment, valued at Rs 6.02 Crores (inclusive of applicable taxes), as announced on October 1, 2026. The domestic order, awarded under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, is expected to be executed by September 2029, and does not involve any interest from promoters, promoter groups, or group companies, nor does it constitute a related party transaction.

Trading volume reached 7.33 lakh shares today, a decrease of 96.23% compared to the average volume over the past week. Avantel Ltd eased by 16.81% year-over-year, outperforming the 8.09% loss recorded by the NIFTY50 index.
