Highway Infrastructure Limited secures a two-year contract worth Rs 220.66 crore from UPEIDA for Gorakhpur Link Expressway operations

Highway Infrastructure Limited has entered into a contract agreement on September 30, 2026, to operate toll plazas and deploy four patrol-cum-safety vehicles along the Gorakhpur Link Expressway in Uttar Pradesh. The contract, awarded by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA), spans two years and carries a total consideration of Rs 220,66,33,332, comprising Rs 105,07,77,777 for the first year with a 10% annual escalation for the second year. The company had previously announced receipt of the Letter of Acceptance for this project on September 16, 2026, and confirmed that neither the promoter nor promoter group companies have any interest in UPEIDA, and the transaction does not constitute a related party transaction.
