Paras Defence secures Rs 26.59 crore order from DRDO for optics and opto-mechanical unit

Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd. is currently down 1.47% to Rs 1301.6, after declining 7.46% over the last week.

Paras Defence and Space Technologies Limited has received an order from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, valued at approximately Rs 26.59 crore, designating the company as the Lead System Integrator for an Optics and Opto-Mechanical Unit within a Hyperspectral Mission, intended for Earth Observation. The order, received on September 28, 2026, requires delivery by September 27, 2027, and includes design, analysis, fabrication, manufacturing, and assembly, with a performance security amount of Rs 79,76,427.

Trading volume reached 4.82 lakh shares today, a decrease of 49.51% compared to the one-week average volume. Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd jumped by 87.33% year-over-year, outperforming the NIFTY50 index's 7.03% loss.
