MTAR Technologies jumps 1.77% after securing Rs 126.74 crore order from Nuclear Power Corporation

MTAR Technologies Ltd. is currently trading at Rs 7051.0, up 1.77%, while its share price has risen 1.92% over the last week. MTAR Technologies Limited announced it has received purchase orders valued at Rs 126.74 Cr from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited for the supply of coolant channel assemblies related to the refurbishment of the RAPS-4 and MAPS-2 reactors, continuing regular business with an existing customer and expected to be executed by May 26, 2028; the company's managing director noted that this brings the total nuclear order book to over Rs 775 Cr, marking a record high for MTAR. Trading volume reached 20064 shares today, a decrease of 74.56% compared to the one-week average volume. MTAR Technologies Ltd soared by 383.67% year-over-year, outperforming the 2.54% loss recorded by the NIFTY50 index.
