Ceigall India and Sushee Infra Mining win Rs 2149.62 crore road construction contracts in Arunachal Pradesh

Ceigall India Ltd. is currently down 3.48% to Rs 304.95, extending recent declines that have seen the stock fall 6.39% over the last week. Ceigall India Limited, jointly with Sushee Infra Mining Limited, has received four Letters of Acceptance (LOAs) from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways for road construction projects in Arunachal Pradesh. The joint venture, with Ceigall holding a 74% stake and Sushee Infra Mining Limited holding 26%, secured the contracts with a total bid cost of Rs 2149.62 Crores. The projects, awarded on August 17, 2026, involve the construction of road sections on NH-913 utilizing an Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) mode, with construction periods ranging from 36 to 48 months and a subsequent 5-year maintenance period. The individual bid costs for the four projects are Rs 521.00 Crores, Rs 611.10 Crores, Rs 525.00 Crores, and Rs 492.52 Crores, respectively. Ceigall India Ltd. shares saw a trading volume of 7.46 lakh today, a surge of 72.97% compared to the average volume over the last one week. Ceigall India Ltd. grew by 22.32% year-over-year, outperforming the NIFTY50 index's 2.37% loss.
