RMC Switchgears secures Rs 1.89 crore transformer distribution box project from Anand Transformers

RMC Switchgears Ltd. is down 7.93% to Rs 277.95, extending a recent decline that has seen the stock plunge 21.77% over the last week. RMC Switchgears Limited announced it has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from Anand Transformers Private Limited for a Transformer Distribution Box project, valued at Rs 1,88,52,000, involving a turnkey contract for new service connections with potential infrastructure extensions (Phase III). The company stated that this award will strengthen its order book and positively impact revenue and growth prospects, with a guarantee period of 18 months and a defect liability period not exceeding 60 months. Trading volume totaled 20693 shares today, a decrease of 13.96% from the one-week average. RMC Switchgears Ltd plunged by 65.00% year-over-year, underperforming the NIFTY50 index's 0.21% loss.
