China Stocks settle mixed

The Shanghai Composite closed nearly unchanged at 3,932.7 on Monday, while the Shenzhen Component increased by 1.91% to 13,774.9, driven by strong gains in technology stocks. This rally followed a surge in US technology stocks, with excitement around OpenAI’s new AI model improving sentiment for chipmakers and AI firms. Notable gains were seen with Zhongji Innolight up 10.38% and Eoptolink Technology up 8.08%.
