Neogen Chemicals receives provisional consent order from GPCB for Dahej facility until 2030

Neogen Chemicals Limited said the Gujarat Pollution Control Board revoked a direction related to a fire incident at its Multi-Purpose Plant (MPP3) facility in Dahej SEZ, and granted a provisional consent order for setting up an industrial plant valid until March 19, 2030. The fire occurred on March 5, 2025, and the GPCB had previously directed the company to not utilize the affected plant before obtaining approval and imposed an Environment Damage Compensation (EDC) cost of Rs 34.60 lakhs and a Bank Guarantee of Rs 7.5 lakhs.
