Equitas Small Finance Bank names Balaji Nuthalapadi interim CEO following Vasudevan’s resignation

Equitas Small Finance Bank Limited announced that the Reserve Bank of India has approved the appointment of Balaji Nuthalapadi, currently a Whole-Time Director (Executive Director), as the interim Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer for a period of three months, effective November 6, 2026, following the resignation of P. N. Vasudevan, who had served in the role. The bank’s board also expressed appreciation for Vasudevan’s contributions and approved a trading window closure for designated individuals on November 7 and 8, 2026, reopening on November 9, 2026.
