Ion Exchange board approves Rajesh Sharma’s transition to Non-Executive Chairman in 2027

Ion Exchange (India) Limited announced that its board approved a change in designation for Mr. Rajesh Sharma, who will transition from Executive Chairman to Non-Executive Non-Independent Chairman, effective January 1, 2027. Mr. Sharma, who joined the company in 1974, previously served as Managing Director from 2000 to 2024 and the board expressed appreciation for his leadership and contributions. Shareholders will vote on the change through a postal ballot, and Mr. Sharma is the brother of Non-Executive Non-Independent Director, Mr. Dinesh Sharma.
