POWERGRID's board welcomes new government director, Anupam Kumar, from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy

POWERGRID announced that the Ministry of Power has appointed Shri Anupam Kumar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), as a Government Nominee Director on its board, effective November 3, 2026, until superannuation or further order, while Shri Abhay Bakre, Mission Director, National Green Hydrogen Mission, MNRE, has ceased to be a Government Nominee Director with effect from the same date.
