Equitas Small Finance Bank names Balaji Nuthalapadi interim CEO pending RBI approval

Equitas Small Finance Bank Limited announced the appointment of Balaji Nuthalapadi, currently a Whole-Time Director (Executive Director), as the Interim Chief Executive Officer, subject to approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The appointment follows the resignation of P. N. Vasudevan as the Managing Director & CEO, and will be effective from the date of RBI approval. The board also expressed appreciation to Vasudevan for his contributions and has initiated a process to identify a successor, while also deciding on his relieving date in consultation with him.
