Axis Bank names Rahul Shukla Group Head, Commercial and Bharat Banking, effective 2026

Axis Bank Limited announced the appointment of Rahul Shukla as Group Head, Commercial and Bharat Banking, effective October 19, 2026, according to a regulatory filing on Monday. Shukla, aged 57, previously led the Commercial & Rural Banking group at HDFC Bank and held senior leadership roles at Citi, and will be part of the Senior Management of Axis Bank.
