Bharat Forge invests Rs 2,400 million in Kalyani Strategic Systems for ammunition production

Bharat Forge Limited announced that it has invested Rs 2,400 million in equity shares of Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary, through a rights issue, funded by proceeds from a qualified institutional placement and internal accruals. Additionally, Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited will invest up to Rs 1,630 million in equity shares of Agneyastra Energetics Limited, another wholly owned subsidiary of Bharat Forge, in tranches, to operationalize the company and establish a facility for ammunition shell production.
