Axis Bank appoints Ananth Narayan G. as independent director for a four-year term

Axis Bank Ltd. announced the appointment of Ananth Narayan G. as an additional independent director for a four-year term, effective October 19, 2026, up to October 18, 2030, subject to shareholder approval. Narayan G., age 57, previously served as a Whole-time member of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) from October 2022 to October 2025 and is currently Senior India Analyst at Observatory Group LLC, among other roles.
