Aurobindo Pharma's A1 USA Inc. acquired A1 Biochem Labs LLC for $15.247 million

Aurobindo Pharma Limited announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, A1 USA Inc., has acquired 100% ownership of A1 Biochem Labs LLC for a cash consideration of USD 15.247 million, completing the acquisition on October 2, 2026. A1 Biochem Labs LLC, incorporated in September 2015 and based in Wilmington, North Carolina, provides contract research and chemistry services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and reported USD 9.23 million in sales for the year ending December 31, 2024, and USD 5.92 million for the year ending December 31, 2025; the transaction aligns with Aurobindo’s strategic objective of expanding its presence in the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) business and creating a Contract Research, Development and Manufacturing (CRDMO) platform.
