Tata Motors' subsidiary invests in Mateshwari E-Smart Mobility for electric bus tenders

Tata Motors Limited, formerly TML Commercial Vehicles Limited, announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, TML Smart City Mobility Solutions Limited (“TSCMSL”), has invested Rs 260,000 for a 26% stake in Mateshwari E-Smart Mobility (Hyderabad) Private Limited (“MEMHPL”). The acquisition, completed on September 28, 2026, will make MEMHPL an associate company of Tata Motors, and is intended to support TSCMSL’s participation in tenders for the operation and maintenance of electric buses, including a joint tender with Mateshwari Urban Transport Solutions Private Limited for The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation.
