Swelect Energy Systems invests Rs 20.76 crore in USolar for a 26.6 MWp solar plant

Swelect Energy Systems Limited announced an additional investment of Rs 20.76 crore in USolar Assetco Four Private Limited to set up a 26.6 MWp DC solar power plant under a group captive scheme, which will result in an increase in the company’s consolidated turnover; following the investment, Swelect will hold 74% equity in the subsidiary. The company also acquired 100% equity in GNU Solar Assetco Two Private Limited for Rs 10 lakhs, which will become a wholly-owned subsidiary and set up an 11 MWp DC solar power plant under a group captive scheme.
