Asian Paints appoints Leo Puri as Chairman, succeeding R. Seshasayee in January 2027

Asian Paints announced the appointment of Leo Puri as an Additional and Independent Director, effective September 7, 2026, for a term of five years, subject to shareholder approval. Additionally, the Board appointed Leo Puri as Chairman, effective January 23, 2027, succeeding R. Seshasayee, who had served as Chairman since October 1, 2023, until January 22, 2027. Mr. Puri, 65, currently serves as Advisory India Chair at Apax and holds board positions at Fortis Healthcare Limited, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited, and Amadeus IT Group.
