Waaree Energies authorized $37 million to expand Arizona manufacturing capacity to 1.6 GW

Waaree Energies Ltd. approved the consolidation of its Tumb and Nandigram manufacturing facilities into its Chikhli, Gujarat facility, and authorized a US$37 million capital expenditure for its Waaree Solar Americas Inc. subsidiary to revamp its Arizona, USA, manufacturing facility, increasing capacity from 1 to 1.6 GW and bringing the company's total U.S. manufacturing capacity to 4.8 GW. The company also appointed Mona Bhide as an additional non-executive independent director, subject to shareholder approval, while Richa Goyal will cease to be an independent director following the completion of her five-year term.
