HDFC Bank, Jio Financial, Tata Power, JK Paper in focus

HDFC Bank: The private lender's net profit surged 50.64% to Rs 15,976.11 crore in Q2 FY24 as against Rs 10,605.78 crore recorded in Q2 FY23. Total income jumped 69.78% year on year to Rs 78,406.23 crore in the quarter ended 30 September 2023.

Jio Financial Services: The company reported 101.31% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 668 crore in Q2 FY24 as compared to net profit of Rs 332 crore in Q1 FY24. Total income rose 46.82% to Rs 608 crore from Rs 414 crore.

Tata Power Company: Tata Power Renewable Energy (TPREL), a subsidiary of Tata Power Company, has signed a Power Delivery Agreement (PDA) with Endurance Technologies, a auto component manufacturer, through a special purpose vehicle (SPV) TP Green Nature, for the development of 12.5MW AC Captive Solar Plant.
