Gold trades flat at $1980 per ounce

Gold futures were seen trading in sideways manner today on lack of cues in the markets today. So far this week the metal has traded in narrow range of $32.70 as against the range of more than $50 last week. Traders are now waiting to get fresh triggers with the US central bank meeting in limelight next week. COMEX Gold futures are currently trading flat at $1980 per ounce.
